Lake Kournas, a few kilometers from Georgioupolis is the only natural freshwater lake in Crete. It takes you 10 minutes by car to get to Lake Kournas from our holiday rental house. You can go pedal boating and see the water turtles that inhabit this lake, and the birds that live in this part of Crete.

Georgioupolis Beach

The beach of Georgioupolis is one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. It stretches for 7 kilometers and can be reached in just 10 minutes by car from our house with sea view for rent. The village has a pretty fishing port where there are very good fish restaurants. You will be surprised to see a church… in the open sea!

City of Chania

During your stay in our house with pool in Crete, do not miss to visit the city of Chania, also known as Chania. The Chania Cathedral, the Ottoman Mosque, the Toponas district, the Firkas Fortress, the Naval Museum and of course the Old Town are some of the places to visit in Chania.
